Playstation 3 Should Handle 3D Blu-ray

I just hit my head regarding the ceiling after reading this: The Blu-ray Disc Association has announced that the Playstation 3 will be fully compatible with 3D standards. It's incredible news for Playstation 3 proprietors, who will not need to shell out money for a fresh player for 3D movies. According in the direction of the newly-released specs, Sony's console will play movies in 3D 1080p, while operating with any and each and every single type of 3D display. That involves LCD, plasma and projection in complete HD, while enabling for 2D playback on both current and 3D players. Adding within the enjoyable will be 3D menus and navigation, giving Playstation 3 owners the complete futuristic knowledge.

The crazier aspect is the fact that most existing Blu-ray players won't support 3D. That means your buddy's standalone Blu-ray player will probably be useless, though you may appreciate Playstation 3 games and 3D movement pictures on your exisiting console. It is selected to piss off those owners but you will likely not hear me complaining. Definitely you'll still need to buy a Tv to help the 3D capability, but hey, half the battle has alreadybeen won. There's no release date for 3D movies yet, but further announcements are particular to stick to. Within the meantime, PS3 proprietors can rest easy and appear forward in direction of the future of watching 3D films with their console. It also adds bragging rights towards Playstation 3-Xbox 360 debate and provides latest Blu-ray proprietors some thing to whine about. So, PS3 proprietors... Excited? And understanding this, will you buy a Television to guide 3D movies? Be selected to take a look at Playstation 3 gaming arenas.
